The Ramakrishna Math maintains a shrine dedicated to Sri Ramakrishna and a meditation cum prayer hall. It is kept open to the public from 7.00 am to 12.00 noon and 3.30 pm to 7.30 pm.
Evening arati & bhajan time is daily 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm.
Daily worships, Prayers & Bhajans are conducted Ramnam Sankeertan on Ekadashi days (6:30pm to 7:30pm) Important festivals like Sri Krishna Janmastami, Ganesh Chaturthi, Durga Puja, Ramanavami and others are celebrated.
Birthdays of saints like Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sharada Devi, Swami Vivekananda, Bhagavan Buddha and others are also celebrated in a suitable manner.
Book Sales Section:
The Math has a Book-sales section. Timings 9.00 am to 12.00 noon, 3.30 pm to 7.00 pm
Books in English and Kannada languages are available on the following subjects.
The life and teachings of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sharada Devi, Swami Vivekananda and other saints. The scriptures like Gita, Upanishads The Yoga & Meditation Personality Development and Moral Stories for children And on many other thought provoking subjects are displayed and sold here Library:
The library has around 4000 books on religion, philosophy, scriptures etc. Due to lack of space it opens only on Sunday afternoon when the books are lent to home.
Sri Ramakrishna Balavrinda:(A Sunday school for Children)
The Ramakrishna Math runs a Sunday school for the children (both boys and girls) between the age group 8 to 16, at Mannagudda. The children are taught moral values through stories, to sing bhajans, chant Bhagavdgita etc so that they can imbibe our culture in their life at an early age.
Other Activities
Arrangements are there for personal interviews to those earnestly interested in spiritual life.
The Swamijis visit schools, colleges, and religious congregation and address the gathering.
